  • Robinhood’s shares jumped 14% on rumors that of acquisition from Sam Bankman Fried.

 

Stock trading app Robinhood listed Aave and XTZ on their commission-free trading platform today. Aave is a DeFI lending protocol that allows users to trade crypto for interest and borrow both crypto and real-world assets. XTZ is the native token of the Tezos blockchain, which is a decentralized blockchain network.

Robinhood supports 19 cryptocurrencies in total, including meme tokens such as DogeCoin and Shiba Inu and other popular cryptocurrencies such as Cardano, Bitcoin Solana, Uniswap, and Ethereum Classic.

On June 28, Robinhood shares jumped 14% on rumors that the exchange would be FTX’s Sam Bankman Fried’s next acquisition. SBF is yet to submit an official offer however SBF commented that Robinhood’s business would be an exciting prospect.

We are excited about Robinhood’s business prospects and potential ways we could partner with them, and I have always been impressed by the business that [CEO Vlad Tenev] and his team have built. That being said, there are no active M&A conversations with Robinhood.

Aave’s current price is $87.28 with a 24-hour trading volume of $1831771,429 according to Coingecko data. The price has increased 5.4% in the last 24 hours.

XTZ (Tezos) current price is $1.37 with a 24 hour trading volume of $56,410.841. XTZ’s price has only seen a 1.5% increase in the last 24 hours according to Coingecko.
